Before joining Tigen Pharma, Benjamin held leadership roles at several prestigious firms. From 2017 to 2021, he was a Partner and member of the European Leadership Team at Prophet in Zurich, where he was responsible for managing national and international clients in strategic marketing and brand transformation. He also served as Managing Director at MetaDesign in Zurich from 2011 to 2017, where he led the strategic branding and marketing efforts for a diverse range of clients. Benjamin began his career in strategy and innovation roles at Arthur D. Little and The Zurich Consulting Company. He holds a degree in International Management from the University of St. Gallen and has been involved in academia as a lecturer in brand strategy and leadership.
Benjamin Gilgen is an accomplished marketing and innovation leader with extensive experience in strategic branding, business development, and corporate transformation. Since 2021, he has served as Head of Marketing & Innovation at Tigen Pharma in Lausanne, where he has played a key role in structuring and building the company’s biotech operations, focusing on T-cell-based cancer therapies. His responsibilities include defining the company’s value proposition, creating business models, enhancing brand experience, and managing fundraising efforts, as well as overseeing both internal and external communications.
