MTIP is proud to announce its support for Mediktor’s acquisition of Sensely. Mediktor, a leading provider of AI-powered tools for medical triage and pre-diagnosis, is acquiring Sensely, a cutting-edge virtual assistant that specializes in patient engagement and healthcare navigation.
This strategic acquisition strengthens Mediktor’s capabilities by combining Sensely’s empathy-driven conversation platform, known for its world-class member engagement, with Mediktor’s robust medical triage platform. The resulting comprehensive and user-friendly platform aims to support clients, insurance services, hospital systems, and telemedicine companies, in increasing efficiency in care delivery and reducing overhead costs, while ensuring the appropriate level of care at the right time. This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Mediktor, expanding the company’s global reach to over 35 countries and solidifying its presence in the United States.
MTIP first invested in Mediktor in October 2021 and has continued to support the company ever since. During the acquisition, MTIP played a crucial role in orchestrating this transformative deal, leveraging our deep sector expertise and network to facilitate a seamless integration between Mediktor and Sensely. Sensely’s platform, recognized for its avatar-based interface and user-friendly support, complements Mediktor’s diagnostic accuracy and expansive medical database. Through the integration, Mediktor will gain access to educational healthcare content from the Mayo Clinic, thanks to a pre-existing agreement with Sensely. The Mayo Clinic will also become a shareholder in the newly integrated company and will have an observer seat on the Board of Directors.
Regarding the setup of the new organization, Mediktor intends to incorporate Sensely’s existing staff and management team. Adam Odessky, Sensely’s Co-Founder and CEO, will assume the role of Chief Product Officer, contributing his extensive experience and leadership to the team. Both teams are committed to a seamless integration process, ensuring continued excellence delivered to their broad base of international clients.
